Hello everyone, my real name is Matt Im 17 and live in California. I am still in high school, senior year, so I tend to be a little busy and don't always get to play as much as I would like. Then again there are times when I play more then I should be... CS is what first got me into online gaming, and I have been playing ever since. My other inerests include sports, cars, and music.

My favorite MLB team is the Angels (dissapointing post season this year) and my favorite NBA team is the Mavericks. I tend to get a lot of crap from my friends for living in Southern Californa and not liking the Lakers. I also enjoy watching football, both college and pro. I played football at school for 2 years, but stopped after breaking my wrist pretty badly during a game. I also played golf my freshmen year, but havn't been able to play the past 2 years because of the wrist. I hope to play this year as it is my last year, and also maybe (a big maybe) in college.

As far as cars go, I am a very big fan of American classics and muscles. One of my all time favorite cars is the 1970 Chevelle SS 454. Too bad the LS6 only lasted one year. My dad has a '72 Nova and a '64 Mustang. The Nova is in great shape, but the Mustang needs some work, it hasn't been started in a while, and is currently sitting in the garage. I enjoy doing minor work on them over the weekend with my dad, as he is a mechanic, but I wish I knew much more about them.

When it comes to music I enjoy metal, and most rock in general. If you recognize my avatar then you can probably tell that I am a Iron Maiden fan. They are actually my all time favorite band, I have yet to come across a single track of theirs which I don't like. Some of my other favorite metal bands in no particular order include Metallica (early Metallica that is), Megadeth, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, ACDC, Pantera and so on. But as I hinted earlier I do not only listen to metal. Besides Maiden, my favorite band is RHCP, I enjoy all of their work. I do not play anything but hope to one day learn. Possibly bass, as Steve Harris has a great influence on me.

I have already played with many of you at one time or another, most likely on warpath on DiG's server. Its a great sever but can be hard to get into at times. When it comes to computers I'm not very knowledgeable so I might look to some of you for help from time to time. Thats about it, hope to get a chance to play with all of ya. See ya later.

Thanks for posting, great introduction. I enjoyed a lot of Metallica growing up so I can relate. Never really got too deep into Metal but I do recognize a few of your bands listed. Muscle cars are definently the way to go. Never really liked the modern sports/racing cars too much. Glad to have another Angel fan here. I could use some backup against these Bay area freaks. It is great to have you a part of our group and I look forward to learning more about you in the future. It's always nice to spend some time with you in-game and I know others feel the same. Nice Intro. I can relate. I played CS too a lot and that got me into clans. The Angels they suck sorry... Glad you dont like the Gaykers. I mean Lakers. You don't have to be a LA Nutbag like some people around here *Cough* NESTA *Cough*. I like Megadeth and Metallica a lot too. I like the other bands too but not as much as those two.

glad to have you aboard dude. I can relate with the music I am an 80's rocker guy who had the chance to see almost all of the greats but iron Maiden who was one my favorites is one that I missed. I did have a few eddie shirts in my days though hehe. My 1st concert was The Scorpians and an unknown band opened for them and were booed off the stage .. that band was Bon Jovi lol.

Yeah I'm from Southern Cal - Hemet to be exact. Glad to see you like muscle cars. I graduated in 1973 from High School, and I love the 69, 70, and 71 era cars. In fact, with my company bonus in February, I'm planning to buy one. I've owned a 1971 El Camino with a 350, but living by the beach for 10 years took its toll - rust bucket, so I sold it back in 1995 for $1000. Not bad considering I bought it for $2000 in 1976 and drove it 300,000 miles with the same engine. Those 350's were rock solid motors.
